 are one of the British rock and roll bands of the 1960s.

 Fronted by their singer Christian (born Christopher Tidmarsh), originally the band consisted of

Elmer Twitch       piano; 
Tornado Evans  drums;

Ritchie Blackmore guitar;

Bibi Blange bass.

Other (later) well-known members of the Crusaders were Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) Mick Abrahams (Jethro Tull) and Nicky Hopkins.
